I still don’t know why anyone would try and purchase the device in the first place but maybe a little bit walk down the memory lane can make you keep your US$499 safe and invest it in something better.

Late last year, Escobar Inc, a company owned or whoever is in charge of it by one of history’s biggest drug lord, Pablo Escobar’s junior brother started making headlines all over social media platforms and its obviously a campaign with the title “RIPSamsung” where some half-nude women were seen smashing a Samsung Galaxy device which obviously was the Galaxy Fold.

Okay fast forward to earlier on this year when the device was being sold but those who paid never got the device they requested instead were sent a book which is sort of an autobiography of the dead drug kingpin.

RIP Apple

Those who made purchases of the device which was at that time priced at US$399 realized there was never even a shipping cost and any other important information about where the user would get it and that led to them getting banned by PayPal as well as a law suit from Samsung which they lost too.

Those who were lucky got a book instead but that aside, the company had always been doing some malicious practices as well such as the replica of the Elon Musk‘s flame thrower and so forth. But let’s leave that aside and speak about the recent scam the company has done just again.

The company as we reported few days ago that they were trying to sell refurbished iPhone 11 Pro at US$499 which sounds nice right? After all, they were at least transparent about it this time around. There is even a receipt that show you the kind of damage the device suffered just before they purchased them from Apple and then fixed them and now reselling them.

Just as before, tech YouTuber, Marques Brownlee as well as MrWhoseTheBoss got theirs and it was another rip-off just as the Escobar Fold 2 was. The device “feels like an ultra cheap Wish product” says MrWhoseTheBoss.

What’s different this time around is that they basically ripped apart the back of the Apple iPhone 11 Pro and then place a golden aluminum with the Escobar logo and Apple logo right on top of it. The company had also started it’s campaign which it bashes the original company’s image just like “RIPSamsung.com”, we now have “RIPApple.com” which basically redirects you to the EscobarInc.com website where you’re told to make purchase of the Escobar Gold 11 Pro.

The device is shipped in a wooden box with everything iPhone in the box such as the powerbreak, the lightning cable. The company is known for using dubious or maybe not but explicit models to market it’s product. In a series of videos on the purchase website, there are some half-naked women all showing the device and flaunting it before the camera as though it was some precious gem.

I mean we’ve all seen smartphone advertisements and even Huawei that usually lie sometimes about what their device can do still make everything appear real. This time, the Escobar Gold 11 Pro looks like a product that’s being sold and then closed off as the website has the “BUY NOW BEFORE IT SELLS OUT! ONLY 2000!” boldly placed on the wack-designed e-commerce website that seems like a junior high school computer science total-beginner’s project. I mean look at that.

The point is do not buy the device. Apart from being a complete ripoff, if you’re lucky enough to get the Gold 11 Pro shipped to you, it’s a device that easily falls apart just as the Fold 2 only had an aluminum foil wrapped around concealing Samsung’s logo. The design of the device this time around looks like some ancient architecture which isn’t modern by any means possible. Try and take a look at amazing Xiaomi devices under US$300 and you’ll see how cool they look not to talk of a “Premium device” you know.

But anyway, DO NOT BUY the Escobar Gold 11 Pro for whatever price they’re offering it because it’s a scam and you’ll most likely not get the product at all and if you do, it’s as though you literally burnt your US$499 right before your own eyes…YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
