The reported case happened in Abidjan, the country’s state capital and it’s a 45-years old Ivorian man meanwhile the country’s government had continued calm panic while continuing it’s preparedness for the outbreak just so things doesn’t get worse.
The country had initially recorded a suspected case back in January but this was later realized to be negative. The country like many others received testing capacity from the World Health Organization, WHO.
As the spread of the novel coronavirus increases worldwide, the WHO appeals to governing bodies that necessary measures should be taken to ensure the safety of all their citizens and ensuring strict measures to ensure the spread is curb off once and for all.
