The new iPad Air 4 is an awesome device sporting some really cool features and new design making it look much in resemblance to the iPad Pro. New technology like the Apple A14 Bionic chipset comes on the new tablet to enhance it’s overall speed as well as make it much more efficient in terms of battery usage and storage management.

Better processor for faster processing, storage management and power efficiency
As mentioned earlier, the design specifics of the iPad Air look much like the iPad Pro with the magnetic Apple Pencil magnetic latch and comes in five different colors which includes Green, Sky Blue, Rose Gold, Silver and Gray. The device sports a 10.9-inch liquid retina display which measures a 2350 x 1640 in resolution with 3.8 million pixels.
Though it looked much like the iPad Pro, the device still includes the Touch ID sensor right at the bottom of the device which was formerly on the lock button while the camera sports a new Sapphire crystal lens with a secure enclave.
But all that aside, the Apple A14 Bionic chip has about 40% increase in performance based on 5nm architecture over the 7nm chips and 30% increase in it’s GPU performance over the previous A13 Bionic chipset.
It also features a 16-core neural engine capable of 11 trillion operations a second, a 2x increase on previous machine learning.
Other cool things about the device includes its USB-C to boost data transfer and the front facing camera is a 7MP FaceTime HD camera while the rear camera is a 12MP sensor much like the one in the iPad Pro that can film 4K at 60fps but there is LiDAR technology on it.
The price point of the iPad Air is US$599 and shipping will start by October. The device works with the Apple Pencil and iPad’s Magic Keyboard while Apple is generous enough this time to ship the device with a 20W USB-C adapter which might oust the older rumor about the company planning to exclude chargers on the iPhone 12 but let’s wait until that one is announced later on this year.
