Bet Netflix UX Researchers are doing good jobs listening to their audiences. Okay what I meant by that is if you’re a prominent Netflix app user, then you might have noticed the Automatically-playing previews which to some is cool because you at least get to catch a glimpse of a movie or show you’ve never seen before. But Netflix now allows those of you that hates it to disable it which is a good news afterall not everyone likes the unnecessary preview.

Being able to disable this is one thing but being able to disable this preview based on profile is another interesting thing. What this means is that you can disable it for one person while keep it on for everyone else which just gives everyone what they want be it preview or no preview. There you have it.
So if you’re not like me and want to disable the automatically-playing previews the follow this simple guide to get rid of it for your account or maybe for a family member that hates it.
Some people find this feature helpful. Others not so much.
We’ve heard the feedback loud and clear — members can now control whether or not they see autoplay previews on Netflix. Here's how: https://t.co/6V2TjEW6HD https://t.co/zbz4E8fVab

Step 1: Head over to your Profile in the Manage Profiles section on the Web or use this URL https://netflix.com/profiles/manage.
Step 2: Now select your profile and then you’ll see a new option that says “Disable Previews” when browsing all devices. Simply uncheck this and that’s it.
As you can see, it’s a very simple process as it requires no expertise or a big manual book. Meanwhile you should note that those auto-playing previews are gone for good (you can bring them back if you so want by undoing what you did in the two steps above).
This feature had been demanded by users for a long time and it’s truly interesting to be finally here which gives users 100% control in how they want to consume contents on the Netflix platform.
