Although the Nothing Phone 1 debuted with a great camera setup, that doesn’t mean it can’t get better and that’s what this post is all about.
As we all know, Google Pixel is like the king of camera phones and that’s mostly due to the capacity of the device’s camera software application which can in fact be downloaded as a third-party app onto your Nothing Phone 1 or any Android smartphone for that matter.
Combine that with the great hardware specs of the Nothing Phone such as its Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and so forth, you can expect a better output when used.
As mentioned earlier, we have a list of GCam APKs that should work perfectly for your Nothing Phone 1 or any Android smartphone that runs updated software versions.

Google Camera (GCam) is the holy grail of Pixel smartphones. It adds a bunch of cool features to the phones and its post-processing algorithms significantly improve the pictures you click. This is why many developers port GCam unofficially to other Android phones and modify versions that circulate around with features that are only found on the Pixels.
Some of the cool features you get using the GCam include better exposure, better image details, and cleaner images thanks to its HDR+ features.
You also get other cool features such as Night Sight, Panorama, Motion Photos, Lens Blue, Astrophotography Mode, and much more.
One thing though is that the GCam will surely behave like third-party software and may not operate completely within your stock camera app’s capacity if that makes any sense.
With a number of GCam across the internet, not all of them will work with your device which is why it’s important to know which one suit your Nothing Phone 1 perfectly.
BSG offers the GCam v8.4 port, the most stable GCam port for the Nothing Phone (1). Users who tested this version confirm that it offers significant improvements over Nothing’s stock camera app.
For those unaware, the stock camera app produces photos with a white balance on the cooler side while GCam gives a more realistic feel to the photo output.

The device’s uniqueness is about its transparent aesthetics which Nothing has marketed for branding on all of its devices including the Nothing Earbuds.
