Kindle Fire is a good to have device for many which integrates well enough into the Amazon ecosystem so you can easily purchase eBooks and watch the Prime Videos and so forth on the device but if you’ve ever found yourself in a situation whereby you needed to copy and paste text on your Amazon Kindle Fire, then this short guide will help you achieve this.
If you want to copy and paste a text from the browser on your Fire HD tablet then you can go about it this way. First launch your browser from the homescreen and then visit whatever website you’d like and then lon-press on the first word of the text/sentence you’d like to copy.
Next thing is to drag the markers to highlight the rest of the text in that sentence. When you take your hand off the second selector, there should appear right above the interface a number of options which you can select such as Copy, Share, and Select all.
Then you’re going to tap on the copy button to select this option and then head over to your document in your Kindle Fire HD where you can paste the text you copy.
When you’re in the interface, you’ll see the Paste button right on the screen which when clicked will allow you to paste the copied text directly on the document wherever you’d like it to be.
And you can also have your copied text pasted on an email so you wouldn’t have to be typing manually if that’s your reason for copying in the first place. So with that, you can head on to the text box and then long press the empty text box and click on the paste button which will then paste the aforementioned copied text straight into the text field.
With that, you can have your text copied and pasted wherever you’d like it to be on your Kindle HD tablet. So whether you want to send an email to someone and need to copy text from either the browser application or from a Kindle ePub or eBook, doing so is just pretty fast and much more easier than you’d expect.
Copying and pasting on the Amazon’s own tablet line has gotten much better and easier overtime thanks to the newer updates and other important additions to the software which has in turn made it better to use by anyone.
