The older Honor Play which was released back in 2018 had a good review and reception from customers and the company is releasing another mid-ranger, the Honor Play 9A later this month by the 30th March along with the Honor 30S.
The news was broken on Honor’s official Weibo page as the company continues to target young demographics with it’s mid-range smartphone with incredible battery life and great performances as the company claimed a single charge can last for about 3 days on a standby but a thorough review will only show that to be true or false.
The announcement regarding the device arrives was a bit unexpected, considering not a lot of information was teased or found online.
While there isn’t an official image depicting what the device will look like, there was an image released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China which depicts a device with a rear triple camera vertical setup while there is a hole-punch camera cut-out on the front.
The back panel also features the AI branding for its camera technology and houses the rear mounted fingerprint scanner as well for biometric security, with the Honor brand name being on the bottom.
Other few information shared about the device includes the model number which is AKA-AL10 meanwhile official details and information aren’t yet made public but it’s definitely going to be a budget-friendly device and will likely feature 5G network considering the fact that the latest Huawei’s Kirin chipsets now support the next-gen network.
But the official information about the device will be released by March 30 when the actual device will be unveiled alongside the Honor 30S so stay tuned as we’ll be bringing you much more information regarding the Honor Play 9A smartphone.
