There have been lots and lots of speedy cars made despite running on batteries. But a new Innovation would prove all to be slower as its made faster. The new electric car Genovation GXE corvette is such a speedy ride to own. Well, Genovation GXE now holds the title record according to the International Mile Racing Association. This heavily modified Chevy Corvette is now the street-legal fastest electric car in the world.
As you’ll see in the video below, the sports EV hit a brisk 186.8MPH while hardly breaking a sweat. The GXE team accomplished the feat in its first day of testing, in fact, so it’s entirely possible that you’ll see higher speeds in the near future.
Although competition is a very important issue for the Genovation GXE as there might be a shift in rye crown later in the nearest future. A very good rival could be Rimac which is building electric supercars that should reach about 220MPH and beyond and it’s entirely likely that this kind of performance will be commonplace in the high-end EV world before long.
Still, it’s nice to know that the technology for these kinds of achievements already exists — it’s just a matter of designing for it from the start, rather than incorporating it after the fact.
So in case you wonder which is the fastest electric car in the world…
its simply the Genovation GXE Corvette.
