As of Tuesday, Republican presidential aspirant Donald Trump did give a detailed account of hs contribution which he had raided for the military veterans and then went against the questioning which many media reporters were requesting details about the money. According to Donald Trump who felt his effort wasn’t appreciated enough, he ade this known while making his mind open and clear.
As the case may be, Trump is usually making headlines ever since his aspiration of trying to be the President. Aside making some comments such as labelling a reporter a “Sleaze” and the other “Real beauty” might actually show some ego from such a man of his stas wtih billions in asset. In his remark about his not being well appreciated by the media, he made the comment that “The press should be ashamed of themeselves, you make me look very bad. I’ve never recieved such bad publicity for doing a good job” He told reporters that gathered around him to make reports.
Its no more news that the billion dollar man is very outspoken and never hide his feelings. His attempt to donate to the Veterans did strike up more words from him as his relationship with the media was never suitable in the first place. Questions like why it took him this long to hand over the donated money to the Veterans, if he really did donated the entire money were part of what triggered words from his mouth.
As the news go, there have being an official listing about the number of Veterans that were handed the donation. In fact, some did make the confirmation to have recieved their donation. The ammount ranged from around $25K to around $1.1M which was quite different for the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. Donations were recieved in form of check from the Donald Trump’s foundation. Although some have recieved their own donations as of February, there were others in March while others last week. According to director of Development at America’s Vetdog Katherine Fritz, she made it known to have recieved around $75,000. “We recieved a gift of $75,000 gift last week from the Trump Foundation, it wasn’t restricted or earmarked in any way.” She said to reporters.
As far as Trump is concerned, he doesn’t seems to have any thought of backing down his voice though his political party never wanted this rather would’ve prefered him lowering his voice in the public and behave more as a potential presidential aspirant but that seems not to be very possible in his case.
Concerning the money, the Washington Post did report that Trump only handed $1M worth of donation just last week which makes it four months prior to the initial announcement. That did raised lots of controversies which made the billionaire voice out calling the media to be ashamed and not appreciating his efforts to donating. According to Trump, he said that the media’s view of his donation to the Veterans had been close to libelous. While they asked him that even if ever become the US President somedays; would he still keep on with his adverseries with the Media, he answered “Yeah! Its going to be like this.” This could clearly mean that the billionaire isn’t having a plan of change of heart so far the media never desists from asking him crucial questions that he felt are questioning his authority.
There was a reporter who took it extreme by saying the aspirant doesn’t have the kind of courtesy a President should have but this did pull some attention from other big faces in the US political arena. According to Ari Fleischer who happens to be a former White House press secretary for the then President George W. Bush, he said that the media should stop reacting to how Trum treats them.
“My advise to the press: Stop interviewing yourselves about Trump’s attack on the press. Don’t worry about it. Just do your jobs and be fair.” He said. As the speech rendered was, it showed that all should accept the fact that Mr. Trump is just who he is and that never changes.
