There were reports about HTC developing a 5G-powered smartphone since last year even though there aren’t good evidences to support this information, other reports we heard was that the so-called 5G-enabled smartphone could be launched later on this year.
One of the trusted internet leakers on Twitter, Evan Blass posted a tweet which eventually got deleted about the 5G-Enabled HTC Smartphone with a model number 2Q6U. But if the name is attributed to the HTC U13 or simply going to be an HTC U13 5G as in with the case of Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.
Report also got out from The Android Soul about a Bluetooth certification for a device with the model number 2Q6U10000 which seems to be similar to that of Evan Blass which could be the HTC 5G smartphone.
Bluetooth 5.0 is a very powerful technology and the new device supporting this is a big thing. But if the device in question is already in production or simply under development isn’t certain and there hasn’t been any official statement from HTC concerning this reports. So we keep our fingers crossed hoping to learn more about the story as it develops more bigger.
