The Magic UI 3.1 was revealed earlier on this year and it’s supposed to power up some of Honor devices and the roll out for global users is on the way already for devices which are compatible with the operating system. So if you have the Honor 20 and 20 Pro, the Magic UI 3.1 roll out is being taken to Europe as well.
While you might wonder what’s the difference between the Huawei’s EMUI and Honor’s Magic UI, well nothing really big is different about both devices except bearing different names from different brands. But with that said, the Magic UI 3.1 update for Europe users sports the build number 10.1.0.230 and is about 4.63GB in size so it will make your Honor 20 and 20 Pro faster.
With the new feature, users will be getting some new updates and tweaks to the core system. In terms of the new software addition, Huawei Celia voice assistant, MeeTime video calling app, multi-screen collaboration, cross-device gallery, convenient multi-window, multi-device control panel and other additions will be coming along with the update.
The update is being rolled out in different phases but in as much as you reside in Europe, then you’ll be getting the update as well. But feedback and results from the first roll out is what will determine how soon the full rollout will be.
But you can check your setting >> Software update to see if your Honor 20 or 20 Pro has already gotten the update which you can download directly to your smartphone from there.
