The iPhone 11 Pro is definitely one of the best smartphone with an amazing camera this year and the next. Despite being small and compact, the device’s camera competes head-to-head even against giant cinematic cameras that costs thousands of dollar.
One thing about smartphone camera over the last couple of years is the processing capacity of these microscopic camera sensors in comparison with the much larger sensors on DSLR or Camcorders.
With great software that improves the processing of photographs, this had increased the productivity of smartphone photographers which was ones scoffed at as being too amateurish. But the industry is getting larger by the day making it really interesting and awesome.
Even without using third-party applications like SnapSeed, the iPhone 11 camera creates head-turning photos even with bad lighting or great light, it doesn’t matter.
But Apple could soon reach another milestone in smartphone camera development as news has it that the company had acquired Spectral which is said to use machine learning algorithms to improve photographs on the iPhone.
Spectral comes into the scene because the company uses technology that involves taking both an infrared as well as a standard photo and then merging them together whereby the result would be an interestingly better image with an improved details and colors.
Assuming this presumptions are true, then the next iPhone’s camera could produce magical photography going head to head right up against the likes of Huawei or Samsung or even the multi-camera Xiaomi.
Such an improved technology will help enhance pictures taken in low-light too. Considering the current image processing of the iPhone 11 Pro in low-light is a truly amazing phenomenon which had found the heart of many customers.
With that said, there still hasn’t been any official statement from Apple considering the acquisition of the Spectral company which means this is just a speculation though until an official statement comes from the company. Meanwhile, the iPhone 11 Pro still produce high-grade images which is spectacular and interesting.
